MyStay didn’t begin as a fully managed platform. It began as a booking flow, built to get a traveler from scrolling to booking as fast as possible. We built the operational backbone that connects every listing, every booking, and every host update into one coherent system.

THE PROBLEMS

The Problem Every Growing Booking Platform Runs Into Is Not Different

Some of what we solved for MyStay wasn’t unique to resort travel. It’s the same set of problems almost any booking platform runs into once it stops being a small, manually managed project.

  • Overbooking becomes a real risk the moment more than one person is looking at the same listing.
  • The demand rarely comes evenly. Resort travel spikes hard around holidays and peak seasons, then drops off. Platform built specifically for steady, predictable traffic struggles during the busiest, highest-revenue moments of the year.
  • As the number of listings increased, the platform needed a real structure underneath the visual experience, so relevant listings could still surface quickly instead of getting buried.

These are the problems that don’t show up in a demo. They show up months after launching, once real growth starts testing a platform that was only ever built for its first version.

We had to build a backend interface giving admins and hosts one place to control everything that appears on the platform, instead of several disconnected tools trying to stay in sync.

One Admin System Controlling Every Moving Part

As the platform grew, the admin system became the layer that actually made that growth manageable. It gives the team real-time visibility and control over listings, bookings, host accounts, and pricing from one place.

This is the part of the platform travelers never see, and it’s the reason the parts they do see stay accurate. New listings go live through it. Price and availability changes flow through it instantly.

Alongside the web platform, we also built the MyStay mobile app, giving travelers the same scrollable, visual-first booking experience in their pocket, and giving timeshare owners a way to manage points and reservations from anywhere.

Why We’re Still Part of This Project

Most platforms are handed off once they launch. This one hasn’t been, because it hasn’t stopped evolving.

New features get scoped as real needs come up.

We don’t treat long-running work as a sign that something isn’t finished.

We treat it as a sign that it’s still worth building, and that the people running it still trust us to be the ones building it.

Each phase was built in response to what the platform needed next, not to a plan written before any of it launched.

MyStay today runs as two tightly connected halves working as one.

It didn’t arrive this way. It grew into it, and every piece added since the first version exists to protect that original feeling as the platform scaled.
